Operation Eyesight is holding a charity bowling tournament as part of GivingTuesday. Just like Black Friday and Cyber Monday start the Christmas shopping season, GivingTuesday signals the start of the holiday giving season! Operation Eyesight is looking for teams of 4 to 8 players to help ‘Strike Out Avoidable Blindness’ at this bowling tournament. Each player gets two hours of 5-pin glow bowling (including shoe rentals), one regular beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and pizza. Operating Eyesight is asking teams to fundraise for the GivingTuesday project: school screenings in Kenya. If 10 teams raise $1,000 each, the fundraising goal of $10,000 will be reached! With these funds, Operation Eyesight can screen over 7,000 students and provide them with the prescription eyeglasses and treatment they need.
