Lord of the Flies is based on the 1954 dystopian novel by Nobel prize-winning English author William Golding about a group of British boys stuck on an uninhabited island who try to govern themselves with disastrous results. The gentoo penguins may be the fastest swimmers, but the king penguins know how to get around too - in wintry weather they like to take their keepers for walkabouts around the zoo grounds. Every morning at 11am, keep pace with the king penguins during their outings.
