The G.R.I.T. program is a non-profit, home and community-based Early Childhood program for young children with disabilities, which has been providing services to the Calgary region since 1995. The G.R.I.T. program provides each child with a Developmental Specialist who carries out the child’s Individual Program Plan in the child’s home and/or community. Ongoing consultation from the therapy team and a Special Education Consultant is provided to children and families. G.R.I.T. also provides information and support with the eventual transition into the school system.
