Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of. Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind. Come one hour before the show & enjoy family friendly activities. Stay after to meet the performers. Penguin Walk at the Calgary Zoo.

Take place now through March 31. 2019 Marks the 7th Year of the Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk! This incredible program allows visitors to get an up-close look at the group of king penguins as they explore, exercise, and waddle their way through the zoo. This is a free-choice activity for the penguins and is subject to weather conditions. *Note: If the temperature warms up to +5ºC, drops to below -25ºC, or the wind exceeds 20km/h, it will be cancelled for the safety of the penguins. Please check the zoo's homepage and social media channels for any updates to the walk due to weather.

Calgary JCC Presents, Sawuti Children Choir - Sing Together .

The Calgary JCC is pleased to present The Sawuti Choir - Sing Together, a concert with exuberant singing, drumming, and dance! This Tikkun Olam concert (Hebrew for repairing the world) is an invitation to make the world a better place. The Sawuti Choir will lead the singing in Koolulam style, which is the gathering of strangers with no singing experience, together in one place, creating a musical sensation. The Sawuti Children's Choir from Rwanda is on their 2019 Canadian Tour, sponsored by Return Ministries. This organization brings Jews and Christians together and invites them to sing along with the choir. Admission is by donation.
