She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. Pedal power midway games and experience how our natural world affects our daily lives. Bring personal lighting and dance to the DJ when the lights go down for the Earth Hour party! Calgary Unplugged is hosted by The Arusha Centre's Climate Program, with support from The City of Calgary and community agencies. If you can't make it to the event, turning off nonessential lights, "unplug" from electronics at 8:30 and reconnect with people, games or hobbies! Book your appointment to take a sensory-friendly photo with Santa in The Holly Jolly Tree Farm at Southcentre Mall. Visiting Santa is part of many families’ holiday traditions, but it can be difficult for children with sensory processing difficulties, due to bright lights, noise, and crowds. Southcentre's sensory-friendly photos with Santa will be a time for kids to see Santa Claus with the usual holiday music and lights turned off to provide a quiet, calm, and supportive environment. There will be no direct contact with Santa and appointments are required. The Holly Jolly Tree Farm is a new Santa experience and there are additional COVID-19 restrictions in place. Activities may include archery, campfire, camp games, canoeing, crafts, nature walks, orienteering, team-building, and more! These activities are free to participate in! Santa is coming to the Market! Visit the Calgary Christmas Market to chat with Santa from a safe distance so he can be in tip-top health for his big journey on Christmas Eve! Don’t forget to drop your letter to Santa in the North Pole mailbox and you’ll receive a letter in return. A professional photographer will snap a festive family photo and with some holiday magic, Santa will appear in the photo! Pre-Sale Timed Tickets Only. Takes place November 27 to 29 and December 4 to 6. The health and well-being of Santa and all families who visit is top priority. Pre-sale Timed Tickets are required to take part in the Santa Experience. No walk-ins permitted. Each ticketed session is 10 minutes to ensure you have a pleasant experience.

A Holiday Market is coming to #17thavesw! This market runs every Saturday and Sunday from November 14 until December 6! Inglewood Christmas kicks off on November 28 and runs throughout Saturdays in December on December 5, 12, and 19 with street-activations, holiday markets, and Santa! Stilt Walkers will be on the streets between Noon to 4pm and the Pedal Pub will be convoying Santa around from 1 to 2pm every Saturday, spreading holiday cheer! Businesses around the neighborhood will be hosting in-store specials to make it easy for people to support local this year.

ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, is back for its 24th year! Calgary's award-winning, magical holiday tradition will be glowing for six weeks of festive family-friendly fun. The Calgary Zoo is committed to helping you enjoy the magic of ZOOLIGHTS in a safe and physically-distanced way while supporting wildlife conservation. Timed tickets are required and must be purchased online in advance. Tickets will not be sold onsite. Tickets are available in limited quantities each night - first come, first served! With over 1 million lights, Legacy will be one of the brightest places in Calgary for you and your family to enjoy this holiday season.
