The Calgary International Children's Festival runs May 20 to 23. Public Early Bird Tickets are $17. After April 30, tickets are up to $29. Wild Kratts Tickets starting at $30.

Supporting Your Child/Teen with Anxiety.

When young people have anxiety, the worries can impact not only their everyday lives, but those of family members as well! This workshop gives parents an understanding of how anxieties develop and the role that families often unintentionally play in maintaining young people’s anxiety. We will focus on some important basic principles that families can incorporate to help their young person triumph over their worries! Presenter: Karen MacMillan has a PhD in Counselling Psychology and she has been a Registered Psychologist for over 10 years. She is a sessional instructor at both Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary. Karen is the Assistant Director of Foothills Academy Society in charge of Community Services.
