Earth Hour 2024.

Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Location: Central Library (800 3 Street SE) Join us for music, entertainment, and opportunities to experience what environmental actions you can take in Calgary. Pedal power midway games and experience how our natural world affects our daily lives. Bring personal lighting and dance to the DJ when the lights go down for the Earth Hour party! Calgary Unplugged is hosted by The Arusha Centre's Climate Program, with support from The City of Calgary and community agencies. If you can't make it to the event, turning off nonessential lights, "unplug" from electronics at 8:30 and reconnect with people, games or hobbies! After Earth Hour, share your participation with #EarthHour and #EarthHourYYC. Email programs@arusha.org with questions.

Storyteller/Musician Samantha Whelan Kotkas and her friends will entertain you and your children with musical interactive tales of child-accessible hikes in the Rocky Mountains. Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of. Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind. Come one hour before the show & enjoy family friendly activities. Stay after to meet the performers. April 3 & 4. All activities are Free with Regular Admission. Bounce around the Zoo and experience multiple event zones that are bound to keep you hopping all day long! Get lost in a corn maze, courtesy of Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm, let Servus Credit Union snap your next selfie in the photo booth, pot-a-plant to take home. There will also be an Easter Bunny Hop, face painting, creature features, fun crafts and touch tables, indulge in some delicious chocolate goodies and there will be fantastic prize giveaways! Easter Hunt Fun at Butterfield Acres Children’s Farm!.

Easter at Marlborough Mall.

Hop on over to Marlborough Mall and join us for a number of family-friendly Easter activities! Visit with some favorite furry friends at the Easter Petting Zoo: April 2, 10am to 7pm. April 3, 12noon to 5pm. April 4, 10am to 7pm. Children aged 1 to 12 can embark on an Easter Egg Hunt around the mall to receive a special treat. On April 4 from 12Noon to 5pm, meet the Easter Bunny himself, and receive a free photo to take home. Those 18 and older can participate in an online Egg Hunt for the chance to win one of three $50 Marlborough Mall gift cards.
