Prepare for Your New Baby - Free Infant CPR Class.

Learning how to respond in an emergency can save your child's life! This class includes a mix of lecture and skills practice all related to infant CPR. There will be one certified instructor per class. The class covers infant CPR, Airway Management techniques and choking for infants (this is a non certified class). Transitions are challenging for all students, but particularly with students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. This workshop will investigate the research behind transitions and look at three main areas that are affected: logistical concerns, social fears and academic concerns. The focus will be on strategies that parents can implement to make these transitions as smooth as possible.
