Come and enjoy an afternoon listening to stories and some of Canada’s finest musicians. Storyteller/Musician Samantha Whelan Kotkas and her friends will entertain you and your children with musical interactive tales of child-accessible hikes in the Rocky Mountains. Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of. Going beyond the pumpkin patch! Kayben Farms introduces Autumn Jubilee. Celebrate the Fall season for four weekends at Kayben Farms with special events, entertainment, music, displays, and shopping. September 24 & 25: Celebrating local talent – live music on stage all day. October 1 & 2: Artists in action - shop at an artisan market, watch artists create on stage. A sequel to their “Connect... Create!” concert last year, the Spiritus Chamber Choir’s 21st season opens with “Connect... Create II!” This collaborative concert features Calgary’s EnChor Chamber Choir and the Amici String Program. The programme includes a variety of sacred choral works including Allegri’s famous “Miserere Mei,” Schubert’s “Mass in G” (selections), Mendelssohn’s “Ave Maria,” and more.

Event starts are 6pm; screening starts at 6:30pm. The Quickdraw Animation Society is excited to announce the return of the Log Driver's Waltz, a free, family-friendly party in plaid! To celebrate Quickdraw's new home in Sunalta, they've teamed up with the Sunalta Community Association to present an evening of classic National Film Board animations, animated activity stations, hot cocoa and cider, and more. Put on your best plaid, and come celebrate classic Canadian animation!
