Sunday
Family Fun Night at Trico Centre: Family Fun Night takes place every Sunday evening where for just $3 a person (or free if you're a member) you and the family can enjoy public swimming from 6 - 8 p.m. and open gym time from 6 - 7 p.m. In addition to that, other activities like Family Game Night also take place.
Moms and Tots Play Gym at West Hillhurst Community Centre: Every Monday from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., moms and their tots can come explore, jump, run, bounce and play. No registration required. There is a fee of $2 per adult and $1 per child.
$5 Family Mondays at Joso's Play and Learn Centre: For only $5, the whole family (up to three children) can enjoy Joso's with a donation to a family in need. Every month Joso's helps out a family and takes gently used or new items. Call Joso's for more information on what exactly they need.
Tuesday
Kids Eat Free at Denny's and Montana's: Every Tuesday you can take the family out to eat and you'll get a free meal for the kids. At Denny's, kids eat free from 4 - 10 p.m. and must be under 10 years old. There's also a limit of two kids meals per one adult entrée. At Montana's, there's a limit of one kids meal per one adult entrée.
Toonie Tuesdays at Joso's Play and Learn Centre: Every Tuesday, admission is only $2 for every one at Joso's. Take the kids for unlimited play.
Terrific Tuesdays at Southland Leisure Centre: From 4 - 10 p.m., Southland Leisure Centre's admission is 50% off. The swimming pool is open for public swim at 7 p.m.
Wednesday
Treehouse Calgary Early bird admission discount: On Wednesdays, Treehouse Calgary offers an early bird admission discount of 50% if you come in between 9 - 10:30 a.m.
Wild Wednesdays at Village Square Leisure Centre: From 4 - 10 p.m., Village Square Leisure Centre's admission is 50% off. Bring the whole family for a swim or fun in the gym.
Movie Night at Canyon Meadow Cinemas: Canyon Meadow Cinemas is one of the few independent theatres left in the city, and when tickets are only $5 a person to watch some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters, you can't go wrong.
Drop-In Family Story Time at local library: Drop-in for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and finger plays the whole family can enjoy for free at your local library. Check out https://events.calgarypubliclibrary.com/ to see participating libraries.
Saturday
Kids' Club at Michael's: Every Saturday, Michael's holds their Kids' Club craft sessions starting every half hour from 10 - 11:30 a.m. There's a $2 fee per child, which guarantees them a spot in a 30-minute craft session. There's a different craft every week.
